My name is Aviva and I am going to be an exchange student in Ecuador for a year. I leave in a little less than a week and am really excited to be going on this adventure. I can't believe it's finally here. I guess I'm keeping this blog so all my friends and family can see what I am doing while I am away. Oh, I'm gonna miss everyone so much but I know that I will make a whole bunch of new friends really soon. As they say in Ecuador, chao!
Good luck in Ecuador. I'm sure you'll make tons of friends. Ecuador was an interesting choice of destination, given that you've only taken one year of Spanish. I guess that's what they call "learning on the job." I love your blog's main title, "In My Eyes: Ecuador." Have a wonderful year, keep us posted, and CHECK YOUR E-MAIL!
ReplyDeleteThat is one of the points of going on exchange is to immerse in the culture and learn the language. I might add that Ecuador was one of the countries that DID NOT have a language requirement.
